The Spirit of Christmas

When the enchanted magic of Christmas

Brings comfort to all who care

And the glittering decorations and fairy-tale lights

Brings a season of goodwill to share

Just remember the one’s that have left us

And the one’s that have no home of their own

And the children that don’t know how to make a fuss

Here, and in lands afar, where nothing at all is home-grown

Let the spirit of Christmas be close at hand

And the wonder it brings be in our hearts

Let it never cease or be banned

And the joy of giving, never be just a game of charades

 

 

Time is of the essence

To ring changes around the globe

Excavate the importance of Christmas presence

To human kind left out in the cold

For some it’s easy to see and understand

Evolutionary developments unfold

So Christmas time is time to be grand

Be generous to the pot of gold

 

 

The most spectacular celebration is Christmas

For it brings unforgettable firework skies

And the alfresco festivities create exquisite examples

Of unbeatable memories that stand before your eyes

Forget not that this is just one world

And all the hearts in it should beat as one

So sacrifice something of value something to let the flags be unfurled

The battle cry is merry Christmas and for future Christmases to come

Let the spirit of Christmas be one that’s attractive

And the light it shines be in our souls

Let it never cease but be commemorative

And the joy of giving be forever at the heart of controls

Splendid in appearance is our Christmas

A season ticket is not required

Only a purpose or belief in life

For every man, every woman, every child

Be determined in our resolutions keep them alive

And preserve the process of harmony harness the spirit dear

For Christmas is a festival that should thrive and survive

For all those who encompass life in this our celestial sphere

Let the spirit if Christmas be our holy grail

And not just a holy passing of time forgot

Let it never cease or to fail

And the joy of giving, gives joy to those who have not
